Waterparks, the pop-rock band based in LA & Houston, released a brand new single today, February 5th, 2026. The song is about the current political climate in the United States of America, specifically with the Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Trump Administration.
The front man, Awsten Knight, is consistently vocal about his political beliefs and standing for what’s right. Originally only posting the song on social media, it immediately blew up within their fanbase. Some users reported being shadow banned for sharing the song, receiving an inconsistently low amount of views with posts around it getting a lot more.

After comments online praising the band for speaking up with a new-found heavier sound, Knight announced that he was working on getting it submitted to distribution.
Waterparks is insistent on one thing, “FUCK ICE,” and they make that plain and clear. The injustices that our country is facing right now is nothing short of inhumane and a national tragedy. If we don’t turn back now, we will be repeating history.
